Description: As direct care providers, it is important to acknowledge our own experiences, so that we can better support our clients. Many direct care providers have a lived experience of trauma, above and beyond any vicarious trauma we may experience through our work. This two-part session offers psychoeducation on trauma-informed care and trauma-centered treatment, as well as in-session experiential activities to help ourselves ease and heal.

Intended Audience: Direct care professionals
