CITY HALL PRESS CONFERENCE
BEFORE THE HEARING ON MARCH 4th 
TO PROTEST BUDGET CUTS
AND THE BRONX MEALS-ON-WHEELS RFP

AGENCIES SENDING SENIORS TO THE HEARING 
ARE ASKED TO ARRIVE AT 1:00 FOR A
PRESS CONFERENCE

 

DATE: THURSDAY, MARCH 4TH
TIME: 1:00 – 1:30
PLACE: CITY HALL STEPS

 

Following the press conference, seniors will be able to go into the hearing. This is a good opportunity to send a strong message that seniors are: 

• Tired of budget cuts such as Borough President funds and the congregate weekend meal program.
• The RFP for meals-on-wheels in the Bronx needs to be withdrawn as it places frail, homebound elderly at-risk and is a funding cut.
