Bobbie Sackman Awarded Advocate's Award from New York Citizens' Committee on Aging

On Friday, October 14, 2011, Bobbie Sackman was recognized for her many years of advocacy on behalf of New York City's senior citizens by New York Citizens' Committee on Aging in honor of their 50th Anniversary. Igal Jellinek, Executive Director of CSCS accepted the award on her behalf and Bobbie responded by video.


Also honored were the following senior centers: Arrochar Friendship Club (Staten Island), BronxWork Morris Senior Center (Bronx), City Hall Senior Center of Hamilton Madison House (Manhattan), SelfHelp Benjamin Rosenthal-Prince Street Senior Center (Queens), and Wayside Tompkins Park Senior Center (Brooklyn).
