ADVOCACY WORKS!
$25 MILLION OF TITLE XX FUNDS FOR SENIOR CENTERS
FULLY RESTORED!

CSCS URGES YOU TO SEND THANK YOU LETTERS

• Full restoration! Governor Andrew Cuomo and the state Assembly and Senate have reached a budget agreement which includes a full restoration to senior centers.
• You are all incredible! The groundswell of advocacy opposing the title XX cut sent a steady drumbeat of “no” that was heard throughout the city and Albany. CSCS and its members worked together to prevent the closing of 105 senior centers.
• Thank legislators that helped make the restoration possible! The full restoration would not have happened without state assemblymembers and senators as well as City Councilmembers who went to Albany to advocate on behalf of senior centers and other funding.
