325 SENIORS MEET WITH 45 COUNCILMEMBERS
COUNCILMEMBERS JOIN SENIOR REPRESENTATIVES
AT PRESS CONFERENCE/RALLY
CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON AGING BUDGET HEARING:
MONDAY, MAY 17TH , 12:30-2:00, CITY HALL CHAMBERS
Despite a cold, rainy day, 325 seniors kept their appointments to bring a strong message home to City Councilmembers – no cuts to senior centers and other critical services. Councilmembers responded stating they would work hard to prevent cuts to senior services.
EVEN THOUGH IT IS LAST MINUTE NOTICE (THE DATE WAS CHANGED), IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE BRING SENIORS TO BE THERE TO HEAR COMMISSIONER LILLIAM BARRIOS PAOLI AND CITY COUNCILMEMBERS DISCUSS CUTS TO SENIOR SERVICES.
PLEASE ARRIVE AT 12:15 TO GET THROUGH SECURITY AND SEATED COMFORTABLY. THE PUBLIC IS NOT ABLE TO TESTIFY AT THIS HEARING, BUT A STRONG PRESENCE IS STILL IMPORTANT. THANKS!
