CSCS members benefit from the leadership CSCS provides in representing the interests of and advocating for seniors and the aging services network when policy decisions are being made. CSCS coordinates and mobilizes action in effective use of its understanding of the political, budgetary and economic climate of the various levels of government.

CSCS is dedicated to helping community-based senior centers and service organizations to provide superior programs and services. Members receive assistance in improving and maintaining their fiscal, management and technological infrastructure as well as opportunities to enhance the professionalism and skills of their staffs and governing boards through training programs and practical workshops.
